Portal Black Jack

Blackjack is a fairly simple game, but one that can provide hours of fun and excitement for players of all levels. The basic idea is just that the player is pitted against the house in an effort to get as close as they can to the card total of twenty-one without going over it. The player draws first, and the house follows. The player and the house start with two cards; this is their initial hand, and it is possible to hit twenty-one with these cards alone — if the player or the house receive an Ace and a card with a value of ten. This is called a “natural” and is the best hand that you can get; this hand will beat another hand that also equals twenty-one, such as a combination of an eight, an eight, and a five. An unlimited amount of cards can be requested to get close to twenty-one, but the player loses if he or she goes over, so it is often smart to stop before arriving at twenty-one. If you get to nineteen, you will force the house to draw to try and match you, and it will often go over, giving you the win.
